Looking through photography books we see landscape, sport, animal and many other types of photography. We also obviously see nude photography.  Looking around on dA I have seen alot of different nude photographs some very good and some just not to my liking.  Everyone has a right to an opinion but what I have noticed recently while speaking to other people about these types of photos is how awful, disgusting and sickening it is to see a women or man posing nude.  These are normal reactions but if we look beyond the sexual side of a nude photograph some artists are able to capture the pure beauty of a persons body and the way that they are made.  People may not like to see a women with her breasts out or a man standing posing with his gentiles in plain sight but lets be honest some of the photos could be frowned upon by some people and appreciated by others.  I am no approving every nude photograph out there but in society today we seem to miss some of the adverts we see on the TV, internet or billboard and how in some cases they really portray a nude and sexual idea and nobody will even raise an eyebrow!  Then somebody will see an artists photo that they did for a portfolio and be shocked and disgusted by the amount of skin showing.  Its ridiculous the how some people think this way but in fairness some nude photos show pure beauty when others maybe seem what some people call "to far".  Let an artist portray their work of art in their own personal way and be done with it.  We all have opinions and personal preferences.
